Let’s show up for each other and for our democracy. Let’s invest in our infrastructure with accessible housing and public spaces, mass transit and clean energy. Let’s build our social infrastructure with healthcare, nutrition and caregiver supports for young and old alike. Let’s create meaningful access to the building blocks of a decent life.
About Kate
Like most of us, I have worked to support myself and a family. I have worked in entry-level and service jobs, in corporate America and the public sector, as a bookseller and a consultant.
I have also done the work that holds communities together—as a soccer coach and a volunteer, a policy advocate and a grassroots organizer, and as a caregiver. Mine is an ordinary life of work, family, community. Finding dignity in work, creating stability through a loving family, and working to build a community in which everyone can thrive.
I am running on this ordinary life of work and family. I know what it takes to move ideas into law. Now I'm asking for a seat in the Maryland House of Delegates to do more.
